It's a privilege to hear and a privilege to see,
It's a privilege to be here and just be me.
There are so many places and too many tasks,
I promise my life won't be filled with "lasts."
I've learned so much in my short time here,
You can accomplish so much more when you're not in the top tier.

There's more to life that what meets the eye,
I look around at the world to merely shake my head and sigh.
Not everyone understands or sees what I see,
While I sit on the front porch sipping my tea.
Today I am planning what I will do next,
Right now it all seems rather complex.
