Lots of people tell me that I sound like my mom when I laugh. I think that some people have laughs that are crazy sounding and others, funnier than the joke they're laughing at. Sometimes, it's how we recognize other people from a distance.
You'd think that people would sound similar when they laugh, scream, or cry; yet, it's all different. I enjoy listening to all of the different laughs that everyone has. My little brother can do a pretty hysterical evil laugh, while my english teacher from last year can sound like she's gasping for air, but is oddly happy about it. I haven't figured out what I sound like...maybe ask my friends, they hear it enough on a daily basis.
I think that laughter brings us closer together. We can all share something that makes us happy in this world. I saw a sign once that said "a day without hearing a child laugh is a day wasted." Little kids I think have the best laughs ever. They get the little belly laugh that continues on for minutes when you pin them down and find their most ticklish spot. Laughing just puts you in a better mood, plus...it's good for your health too.
