Everything has a place and everything is in that place.
I think that we can all agree that we're functional in our own dysfunctional ways. I'm one of those people that likes most everything in an orderly place, whereas my sister...I think that the floor is an adequate place for most things. (sorry, but it's true, you know it)
When it comes to school, teachers want you to be organized and they don't want you to lose anything, yet how many of you have lost your bills that have come in the mail or an important invitation? Maybe they're lost with good intent...meant to be forgotten like the gifts you received at Christmas that you could really live without.
I always like finding things when I clean up places. One time, I found $40 in my shoe! Man, that was a great day. (Don't ask me why it was there...I have absolutely no idea). Sometimes, you're lucky and you find something useful, or something that you've been looking for for a long time. I always like finding little things that are useful, because when you find an old birthday card or a keychain...it's not as cool because you can't really use it.
Sometimes finding things isn't always physical...you can put little pieces of information and stuff you've "picked up" throughout the day and file them away in your mind to use later. Then, it's just a matter of remembering how to get to it and where you last left it in the mess of all of whatever your brain has in it, like the floor in your room.
