Close your eyes and picture this,
The beautiful colors of the rainbow.
A place that you love, filled with absolute bliss,
Tell me, would you go there now?

"In the blink of an eye" can pass so quickly,

When other moments seem to freeze,

Many times are filled with glee,

And others pass fast like a breeze.

When you close your eyes and think of a place,

One that you love and wish to return to,

Are the edges rounded with clouds or with lace,

Are the skies endlessly big, bright, and blue?

When you have so little and can't give what you want,

The time's run out and you don't know where to turn,

That's when people who seem to have it all walk around and flaunt,

You have a place that you will earn.

As you picture the sunset and see waves roll onto the shore,

You close your eyes and take a deep breath,

The smells, sounds, and feelings leave you wanting more,

The memories linger until finally you've left.

So please close your eyes for me, and think of a place that makes you smile,

Take a deep breath and relax,

Sit somewhere, enjoy the moment, and ease yourself for a while,

Be sure that if you don't want to be found, you cover your tracks.
