Sometimes, it's good to seclude yourself from the world. We all have days where we just want to be left alone, to think about things and try to solve our problems. A quiet place is somewhere good to start, but it's keeping the helpful people out that is troublesome.
When I see someone who is sad, I immediately want to go talk to the person and figure out what I can do to help them. I do have friends however, that wish to be left alone. I guess we all, at some point in our lives, want to be left alone to sit and ponder life...how it pulls our paths in different directions and about how it is able to change us everyday.
Driving to and from the city during the week for school gives me a lot of time to think. Time to think about life, choices I make, things that I need to get done, and the opportunities that I'm given everyday. Sometimes thinking about such things can be overwhelming and other times it can be eye opening...it's simply a matter of perspective.
Life is a great big roller coaster ride and there's no way to get off. You have to deal with the curves, the ups and downs, even the upside downs in order to come out in one piece. Yet no one is able to finish unscathed, you are bound for some jerks and abrupt stops that will leave an impact on your life.
