30 December 2011
As the lights start to fade and the year comes to a close, we start to reflect on our experiences and choices in our lives from the past 365 days. Through the good times and the bad times, there's always something to look back to that will make you laugh and something that will make you cry, but they're all experiences that help to make you who you are today. What will you be doing as the clock strikes midnight tomorrow? Will you be spending it with family or with friends at a party? How do you want the year to remember you and how do you want the new year to start?
When people cry out "Happy New Year" what do you want to promise yourself for the coming year? Many people make promises that are with good intent, but are seldom kept. I think that if people really put some thought into their resolutions that people would be a lot happier knowing that they can change...doing something that they want for the better. It all depends on how you take the moment and how you decide to start the year off. Why not try starting it off with your best foot forward and hit the ground running.
