Not everything's always just sugar and spice.
When life gives you lemons you should make lemonade,
The colors of the rainbow are radiant but will always fade.
Nothing is ever guaranteed from the start,
You have to keep your head high and lead life from your heart.
When you get knocked down and pick up a few bruises, it's then that you smile and get up to run.
Better to travel in groups than being all alone, it's safer, less quiet, and ultimately fun.
Yet when the sun sets and look back on today,
What's the one thing that you will take away?
With the end of a day comes the start of a new,
Chances to take and mistakes - far from few,
Life's a climb, but I'm sure that in the end you'll appreciate the view.
