What constitutes a great meal? Does it have to be "square", have 5 different courses, or just be satisfying and tasty? Food is so good. There are so many different combinations and concoctions that the options are literally endless. It's hard to complain, yet people are picky and always find something to whine about. Another thing I wonder is how often people pray at mealtime. Then there's the questions of eating really fast, and saving room for dessert.
I think that we often take for granted everything that we have available to us in this time. We can't really imagine a day or more without food or shelter. If we were to only be given what we truly need, people would be more appreciative of that instead of always being continually picky, leaving leftovers, and not praying. Pretty soon, people would want to savor every last morsel, thank someone for what they have, and make sure that nothing goes to waste. My grandpa always comes up to visit me (because he really really loves me) and when he's here there's always dessert! Despite what my grandma says. I believe that every meal should always have dessert, it's the cherry on top to a perfect meal and a great way to finish off the day. Something tasty and sweet is a wonderful treat to share with someone that you love...it makes you only appreciate it that much more.
