Friends are the family that you get to choose for yourself. They're the people that you trust with your life, tell your deepest secrets to, and love you no matter what...even if they have every right not to. Friends can range from anywhere across the globe to any form of life that you prefer. Dog is always seen as best friend to man. I think that we often under-appreciate those who love us the most.
For those of us that have pets, I think that it's safe to say that it's easy to tell that they love us. But do we take every moment that we can to make sure that they know that we love them? I'm sure that each and every one of us has had a moment where we've had a bad day and just lash out and anyone and anything. Although, why does anyone deserve that when they haven't done anything wrong themselves? Our pets can't always understand the most basic things that we would like them to. They're the type of friends that come into your life and leave a handprint so deep that it will change you forever.
