There are many things in life that are said,
Without a care in the world, the breeze flows right through your head.
Those that don't really care and never seem to mind,
Keep a watchful eye...people approach from behind.
They do not mean harm, only to intimidate you,
We must be the better person and just bid those thoughts adieu.
When the world closes in and you don't know where to turn,
Please come straight to me...don't let yourself fall, crash and burn.
Never ever forget how truly wonderful you are,
Your smile and personality shine brighter than the biggest star.
It might not be today or even tomorrow,
But I promise one day soon, gone will be all the sorrow.
These people in the world don't know what it's like,
They've never been caught with love and a spike.
To never really know or never understand,
They've always had someone holding their hand.
But someday we will be the better people,
Sewing together our lives with a very sharp needle.
