There are many different titles for those that we classify as a friend. Names such as "mate", "buddies", "girlfriends", "guy friends", or even "siblings" for our closer friends are all good titles. I think the best names are those that are nick-names. One of my favorites being Lemony. I find that friends with awesome nick-names such as that are usually the best kind to keep around. Life isn't exciting unless you keep it full of kind, helpful, and wonderful people. It's really better that way.
Someone with the name of Lemony must be super nice...always smiling and kind. Open to new ideas and understanding of others. Selfless enough to see happiness in others instead of keeping it for themselves. We need more people in the world like this. Yet, they are a rarity, for I only know of one Lemony. Without her, my half-birthday celebration today wouldn't be complete and this blog post would be written about something entirely different...I might even have had entirely different plans today. So thank you to Lemony for all that you've done! My life wouldn't be the same if you weren't part of it and neither would my mantle.
