The funny thing about time is that it's always passing, always moving forward to the next second, never going back. In life, we tend to get so caught up in our own lives that time becomes a background thought - it even seems to speed up, like it's working against us. It's really all about perspective, I think. When you're really enjoying something it can go by so fast; however, when situations become awkward and dull, time cannot crawl by fast enough. Yet time is always the same. Repeating the same times each day, always the same speed, never changing. It seems kind of ironic when the whole world is constantly changing at different times and speeds everyday.
One of the reasons that I love to always have my camera on me is because nothing will ever look the same way twice. I don't think that every person in the world realizes that. They see every sunrise as average, every gust of wind another burst of air that blows their hair in their face, and all the waves in the ocean as wrinkles in the large pool of the world. Just like people, each item in this world is vastly unique. We're always adapting to the world around us - trying to learn and grow into something better than what we are today. There are only so many seconds to spend in our life. A week might seem to take forever but a second is gone in a blink.
When you really think about it, life is short. I often find that it's easier to just go with that flow of life and let things happen the way that they do instead of trying to always control it. If things are contained, they tend to spiral out of control and become unmanageable. The world could be so much more relaxed. By letting things go the way that the wind blows often tends to provide for a great time. Life is one heck of a ride, hold on tight and have fun and things will all fall into place.
