I have trouble finding things, as my family knows. It's often right beneath my nose too...so then it's easy to get made fun of. My mindset is that everything has a place and it is in its place - that way I always know where to find something when I need it. If someone else comes in and moves everything around, I'm so lost and confused. People may think that's crazy and ridiculous, but it's true. We all have our own ways of organizing our lives. Order isn't always classified as being neat...there's so many different types for the variety of scenarios. Whatever fits the moment and place is what's right. Then it all comes down to a matter of remembering everything so that when the time comes for action, we're prepared for anything.
