There's something so peaceful with something that so many people seem to despise. Granted the beauty of snow and winter is breathtaking... it's the slick conditions, the cold weather, and the lack of sun-shine that gets most people.
I love how the snow blankets the Earth and makes it so smooth. The tracks that get left by wandering animals and little birds are so much fun to look at, seeing which direction they go and how they weave across the land. You wonder where they go and hide during the day, out of sight from you. The crunching of all the flakes under your feet is a funny noise that brings a smile to your face.
There are so many things to love about every season and every time of the year, but most people, it seems, tend to always find something to complain about. I like to enjoy what is given to us everyday. After all, it is a gift...that's why it's called the present.
