7 December 2011

Do you ever have those days when absolutely nothing goes right? You seem to forget anything and everything until you become this absent-minded void in the day that has no real purpose. Although, you somehow find a way to be productive despite your down-falls.
Today, for me, was one of those days. Everything I tried to do took forever or went awry. Somehow though, I was able to accomplish a few things. I guess that's what you do on the bad days...weed out the bad to find the good. No matter what happens, I believe that you can always take away something good from a situation. It might not be a specific memory that you will remember, but it will have been a lesson learned that will be able to help you later on in your life for the better.
Someone once told me that if you have a really good day, one of the main things that will stick out in your mind will be the one thing that went wrong; but if you have a bad day, the one thing that will stick out in your mind will be the good thing(s) that happened throughout the course of the day. I think that people tend to sometimes focus on the wrong things in order to make a judgement. If we take away something helpful and positive from everything, I believe that we will start to lead better lives. From this, I think that we'll be able to better understand what life has to offer and what a beautiful gift to us it really is.
