I live in a world that knows no fear,

You live in a world that holds nothing dear.

I see the sparkle and shine in your eyes,

You show me darkness and cloud up the skies.

When all hope seems lost, we hold onto each other,

How much nicer it'd be, seeing you as a brother.

But when the lights go out and the stars all fade,

That empowering feeling seems to become afraid.
