It's important in our lives to be recognized...to be told that we're doing the best that we're capable of. I've learned that many people in this world take everyone else for granted. They think that others get in their way, drag them down, or even discourage them. These are all true statements, but I think that it's how we view these things that makes the difference. I see each of these things as an opportunity. An opportunity to increase your drive for something...to become better. If you truly care about something, there shouldn't be a single reason in the world that would stop you or discourage you in the least. Throughout my life, specifically my high school career, there have been many moments and people that have tried to slow me down and discourage me. Among the many things I've learned from this, the most important to me is the knowledge that good things come to those who wait. Everyone gets to have a high point in their life...if everyone else wants to have it now in high school, be my guest. I would much rather have the time of my life doing something that I love with my job out in the real world. When it counts.
