25 and 26 June 2012
When time runs low and we forget all our missions,
There are things that come up under certain conditions.
We forget this or that, remembering the little things.
How easy it is to cast away fears and spread our wings.
Soaring high above the rest - we all wish to see,
Each person and landmark, count them - one, two, three.
A view of the world, from the eye of a bird,
No one but the wind can utter a word.
As time stands still, everyone looks,
You can't always believe what you hear about in books.
The real world is so much different where you are,
I've never once looked to the sky to see a shooting star.
The trees stand so tall and cast long, eerie shadows,
The owls hoot, wolves howl, the sun sets to the gallows.
But tomorrow, you see, hold a promise so true,
It is blue like the sky I am promised is blue.
