In life, there are many things to look forward to. Winning the race is always in the back of my mind. I believe in the "slow and steady" approach to things Work hard for something and you will be rewarded. We can't just always expect things to come easily, that's too nice and fair. Life isn't about all that, it's not fair and it's not always nice. I've learned, so far in my short life, that you have to work hard for something that you want. While there will be many people that cheat to get ahead, never let it discourage you - hopefully someday they will get what's coming to them. It's important, however, to never let them get the best of you...otherwise you end up falling off track.

In the end, those who have put up with the most hurt, been through more battlefields and have worked the hardest will be the ones that are praised and regarded higher than the others who cheated and found ways around all the obstacles.
